Le Ouaisne

Plan today was to visit Elizabeth Castle, just off St Helier, via the duck, an amphibious vehicle which travels on land or sea, but as G signed off work for a free afternoon, the weather turned to heavy drizzly rain, so a change of plan. Took a drive to Portelet and Ouaisne, two rocky bays, southwest of the island where I took today's blip of the beautiful, but empty beach....on then to La Mare Wine Estate, vineyards, orchards, gardens and historic buildings, but sadly too wet for a tour, instead a Jersey cream tea......
This evening will be cosy, at home.
