Beinn Dorain
After a mere 4 hours sleep I didn’t feel too sprightly today.
We left our wild camp spot at 9 and headed for home. We stopped to take this blip of Beinn Dorain which we climbed with its neighbour many years ago.
Mr C is like a homing pigeon when we are on our way back from a trip but I persuaded him that it would be nice to take a detour and visit Dawyck Botanical Gardens near Peebles. It was quite a detour but a nice break in the journey to stroll around admiring the autumn colours.
We got back just after 5 so I’m blipping before I go to rustle up some food. Our area is going to be hit by a tougher lockdown but they won’t be telling us till next week. Why wait?
