paddles up

We took her and a friend to a local lake today for an hour of paddleboarding tuition for a birthday treat. We’ve done it before, so I had the sense to avoid it this time (me and swallowing lakewater don’t mix).

At the end of today she told us she’d had the best birthday weekend ever. Like every year :)
