Tide's out
What a cracker of a day after yesterday's relentless wetness. We have been hard at it.
Me:
cut back hawthorn hedge (prickly)
clear brambles around small pond (even more prickly)
pull duckweed out of small pond (smelly)
Himself
Stew armfuls of the last apples (delicious)
pulp grapes and make juice (delicious)
stew quinces (huge) and crabapples (delicious)
Himself smells lovely and I'm ripped to a shred and we have a massive stock of stewed fruit in the freezer.
A large gin (there is borage, it would be rude not to) and a bath with possibly a whole box of radox knock-you -out bath salts.
Dunmanus Bay was looking petty nice too.
