In which: more feedback, no marking

Thanks to lockdown I got good at using video apps. Today I started doing verbal feedback on A level English essays and, in five minutes, commented in detail on the entire assessment, saying far more than I could ever write. And they won’t struggle to read my handwriting or say ‘I don’t get it’ and then promptly ‘get it’ when I read the precise words in front of them out again.

Much more feedback, no marking.
