Look close!

It was twilight for sure and I was on my way home from the gallery when I saw two eyes shining in the middle of the road a quarter mile ahead. I slowed WAY down and crept up and he was there between the corn and the creek waiting for me. I got out of the car (which makes Joel lose his mind when he hears about it) and I said, “I see you.” We stood gazing at each other and when I knelt down to take a pic with his antlers showcased against the sky, that was just too much for him and he flashed his tail and was gone.
