Afternoon tea...

(I know this is fuzzy...!)

We finally delivered the parcel to Slough and it’s now on its way. Let’s hope it gets there safely and quickly. Our friends have been very patient.

The way you know is always the best and we went via Kensington to visit our opticians to get D’s glasses straightened. Too many times taking them on and off and into a breast pocket for wearing a mask had taken its toll. It was actually really good to be up there again and the journey onwards was surprisingly short.

Straight home again and after a sit down, out with the ironing board ( or I’d fall asleep today) The evening sun caught the mantelpiece and my mug and the clock. It really looked much better than this.
