Boiling Above the Bull Ring

Today was my first visit to the rebuilt Bull Ring area in Birmingham. What a change to the place!

It's been funny to be back in Birmingham during the day. I haven't been for such a long time, and while it's so different it's also somehow the same.

So it wasn't a hardship to spend the two and a half hours between my course finishing and my train leaving mooching about, seeing what there was to see, and avoiding the retail temptations.

Slightly dismayed to see that HMV still think they can charge £10 for a recent CD though...
