Spring onion flowers

There are so many fabulous flowers out, in the garden and beyond. Onion flowers aren't the prettiest but I like them. They are also good for my focus stacking journey. While I still have a lot to learn, one thing is certain: taking the same photo with photo stacking gives a far better result than without.

Tomorrow we are putting on a birthday dinner for our daughter who will come with her partner. M is doing lobster thermidor and I'm doing Julia Child's Aunt Helen's pumpkin pie.
