Hangar in a hangar

The aircraft stays inside overnight - in a purpose built hangar inside one of the old WW2 hangars.

It sometimes feels more like a cathedral with its complex lattice of struts in the roof.

I still love the atmosphere of the place - it's redolent with stories and hope and despair and joy and sadness. Fabulous.
