Bramley Doughnut

It's a shame that some of our local apples go to waste; I heard that the "village police" have stopped non residents from picking them in the past - bonkers if true and not typical of the vast majority of residents. 

Don't remember them being gathered so neatly around the trunks before ;but can't always rely on my memory.

Bumped into our dear neighbours this morning as I knew they'd be pleased to hear of our sons driving test pass. Next thing they asked if he was still washing cars, which he is. Return booking requested for both cars. The wonders of speaking to people and the village jungle telegraph strike again.

Lots of chats and waves on today's dog walk, which is always uplifting.
