Angry Skies
The sky looked like it might rage - then it did briefly. The wind blew and the rain came down sideways. But as we Chicagoans like to say, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes." About twenty minutes after I glanced out toward this dark and threatening sky, the sun came out and storm moved onward. It is definitely spring time - the squirrels are playing and the robins are too.
I'm not feeling playful on this spring day - have been in a slumpy grumpy mood all day. That angry sky pretty much summed up my dark mood. Tomorrow's a new day though.
Today I am grateful for changing weather, my vision to see it, and the rain that dampens the earth for growing things.
Edit: I know this is probably my worst blip ever - the angry sky would have held its own and perhaps a collage of silly springtime animals would have done fine too, but paired together it makes no sense. Kind of how I feel right now, so it stays.
