1955 family snap, Seamill, Ayrshire

I blipped this photo back in January, but it came out rather poorly. The family is actually that of my mother's cousin, Elsie. The woman on the far left, is Betty, my mum. The baby with the big head is me as a one year old. Seamill was one of those seaside destinations in easy reach of Glasgow, especially if you had a car. This is my mother, the way I remember her from my early childhood.
