Dramatic

Today was busy, but not solid work. As well as chatting to PhD student M first thing, I was interviewed by a guy in Social Sciences for his "academic retirement preparation" project. PhD student J had little news, but I'm seeing them in person on Sunday, all being well. Around lunchtime, I spent a pleasant hour analysing the performance of solvers on a couple of test problems someone sent me: not for money, just interest! After a meeting about recruitment, I then finished the coding I'd hoped to complete last weekend! 

And it rained - spectacularly!
