Pumpkins

So much for my good intentions to blip early today!  A few other more pressing things needed doing, mostly involving staring at a computer screen. After one long session I needed air and a walk outside so Pepper and I went out.  Almost home, I walked past the garden of village friends and noticed this line up of pumpkins outside their greenhouse - I framed the shot to include the fork handle and other garden foliage.  Part of the significance is that J gave the plant to our friends and this line up of five very large pumpkins is the result from that single plant; friends think half a plant would be adequate next year - we say they shouldn't be such good gardeners!

More screen work after that so that I could send a off few of the 'baby' photos from Wednesday to the enthusiastic parents. Another dog walk needed after that.

Now on to the really important things - Mono Monday hearts.  I was bowled over by the amazing contributions from so many blippers and the fact that so many of you had taken the time and trouble to look a bit further into the world of Double Exposures.  I have really struggled to award only five hearts this week. But - decisions have to be made so....
Heart Number One to dfb24 for a skilled and creative double exposure clock,
Heart Number Two to DollyDoug for her devotion to the cause with several equally brilliant and creative ideas,
Heart Number Three to libeccio for a great first effort at this skill,
Heart Number Four to MaggiePie for a most surreal 'underwater' image and
Heart Number Five to DonnaWanna for an image created by seeing and recognising the luck she needed when she saw it!

Well done to everyone - more fun next week with Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) hosted by GadgetKid
