A new day

I wish this photo had been able to capture the gloriously bright golden glow that I saw from my window when I looked out this morning.  It was truly beautiful and a fine start to a new day that I welcomed.  The awfulness finally ended last night and I'm feeling like my normal self again.  Hoping it will be a long time before the next one arrives.

I've run out of milk so I've phoned in a grocery pick-up order for later.  Right now I'm straightening the kitchen because I've started making a chicken-mushroom-barley soup.

Tomorrow will be a Twinsday for me, as we are getting together to celebrate our friend Bruce's 80th birthday.  Manda and Andrew will be bringing the boys so I'll have lots of photos for you.
