Breaking Rocks!

I liked the range of different colours and hues in this cotswold stone quarry, some from the machinery, some from dry and newly exposed limestone and some from the banked heap of damp earth. I also liked the concentration of the driver absorbed in the task and skillfully breaking up the rocks, using the mechanised drill like the leg of a giant spider, poking and prodding, and taming its quarry!
