Happy Friday

Today I had an appointment to my orthodontics dentist. My first visit there was in 2007 and today was the final inspection. I had braces for 3 years and after that a surgical operation where my lower jaw was cut and moved forward 1 cm. As a reward my chronic migraine ended so I'm forever grateful to the physiatrist who figured out the problem and to the very skillful and nice dentist. Today was the end of one era.

I got my framed pictures from the framer (in the picture). The total sum of all three of them was only 65 euros! I participated to a wood print course last November and carved and printed these pictures there, shown in my blip November 9th.

In the evening I took two of them to Pirkkala's art gallery "Gallery 2" where a jury will choose which paintings are selected to Pirkkala's Art Association's yearly exhibition. Opening will be next Sunday. Let's keep fingers crossed that one of my works will be selected! There are so many great paintings there, so it's lucky chance.

Today there was a surprise in the mail box --- a mystery parcel addressed for me! Inside was the cutest notebook ever (in the picture in upper left corner). It was a Friendship's Day gift from my friend Saara who also is a guinea pig- lover. I was soooo thrilled and happy!! Thanks Saara <3
