Reflections

Participated in a summer bird census on the Hillcrest campus of the University of Pretoria this morning. A very pleasant 3km walk in our designated area, the centre-piece of which was this lovely dam..
Numerous breeding birds on nests covering the willows included many herons, copmprising Grey, Black-headed and Green-backed; Cattle Egrets and African Darters.
A very pleasant morning out.
