Books and bicycles in Bogota

A place where you can rent bicycles AND buy second-hand books under one roof must be approaching perfection.

This was also the location for the beginning (in the sun) and end (drenched) of a perversely pleasurable trip through Colombia's capital, where the streets are shut to cars every Sunday. The trip took in the bullring (now filled with an ice-rink), graffiti walls, a pig on a lead, the red light district, a fruit market and a few (hazardous) rounds of tejo. And some not insignificant rain.
