Acorns...

It was 3 degrees when I got up at 7am today.  For us, the coldest start of the autumn so far.  I opened the door and stood outside to breathe in the cool air and take in the peace of the morning.  Merlin was soon back inside wanting his breakfast which he gobbled down as usual.  I then made mugs of tea and toast and marmalade for Andy and I.

This morning I was keen to get up to the house at Liss promptly to do the final clean of the house. I spent four hours dusting, hoovering, and cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.  I also swept up a mass of acorns which had fallen in the communal parking area and cleared the moss growing on the area outside the garage.  As a treat after I'd finished I popped into the village to a little art studio which sells local honey.  Its delicious and I like to have a stock in the house so I bought two more jars for my stash!

Then it was home - to another dirty house and the dog running around all over the place taking grass and mud as he went....   Anyway, I am now showered and  sitting down with another cup of tea and feeling pleased with what I have achieved so far today. Looking forward to catching up with your blips later.
