Chocolate cake

It's been a miserable day outside but I've been busy baking so it's been nice and warm in the kitchen. I've been making things to take on my trip tomorrow.

We're going to see my son and family half way between our houses, we at Leamington Spa in Warwickshire.  I've never been there before so am looking forward to looking around.

My granddaughter was four last weekend so she'll be able to have her presents and the cake is for them to take home. It will be lovely to see them!  We will be outdoors the whole time so hope that the weather is fine, a soggy picnic won't be quite as much fun!
