CATCHING THE SUN
The sun played hard to get today, but it came out for long enough for a walk in the old cemetery over the road where I was pleased to find several more types of fungi, a vole which I helped to hide itself from any passing kestrels and a flock of long-tailed tits, which are among my favourites. I caught this one perched at the top of a hawthorn tree.
Also making me happy today was the arrival of this lovely soft and toasty scarf (extra) crocheted by the equally lovely LadyG during the darker days of lockdown and purchased from her online emporium. I'd also decided that it was time I had a smart(er) winter coat so I ordered one I found on Oxfam online, which also arrived today and now I'm all set up for colder weather. I'm assuming that our choir will not be singing on Remembrance Sunday, but I'm ready if called.
