A Very Damp Day in Clestrain

The rain forecast five days ago finally arrived; it had been in a holding pattern above Doha.  The forecaster is also advising the UK Gov’t about its Covid response.

All of the above induced me to go and remove the old tumble dryer from my Mum’s and take it to the local recycling facility.  I met Ziberoonie in the chemist and Dave and Jill outside – had not seen them since lockdown began.

Back home and dried out by the stove; CMC unveiled a truly tremendous chocolate cake. 

I listened to ‘I Sing the Body Electric’ and thought about Ian Nairn – not an easy thing to pull off.

Nana Mouskouri is 85 – apparently she never forgave Demis Roussos about the infamous incident with the boiled egg.
