After the Rain

We had some rain today. Here's one of our big marquesa leaves afterwards.  A full day of online work as it's my turn to be observing teaching practice, preparing the trainees for their classes etc.  All good though and lovely trainees.  

After my day online with my trainees in Zurich, I had a fun Zoom into the British Cairo this afternoon as the trainees on that course had observed my dvd (recorded back in IH London days) and one of the questions the trainees had been asked on their observation task was 'what would you ask C about her lesson?'.  They had no idea they would be able to ask me those questions live this afternoon as it was a surprise for them!  Lovely idea and it felt strange and very nice to be appearing in room 211 in the British Cairo there, which is where Nick and I did our input for many years over almost 10 years!  All the trainees were masked of course, as were Nick and Osama, the trainers this month.  Perhaps I'll be back there doing a f2f course one day....
