St Mary the Virgin, Ewell

This is part of the older church that is within the church grounds hidden away by trees. The newer, Victorian, church is what most people see from the road. This is at the end of the road from where we had been visiting our youngest daughter for a few days.

I had never noticed it before, surprising as it is a full tower! The graveyard, split either side of the road has many gems. This time I spotted a pair of Jays, a Green Woodpecker and a Lesser Woodpecker amongst the gravestones. I must take my big camera on my next visit.
