Men in White Suits

Back on the 4th of October ( https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2759569550176423850 ), HClaireB commented "Couldn't I do something about the trees partially blocking my view?".
Well I can't, but the very next day, a JCB turned up, demolished a derelict garage and two walls, drove across a garden, removing some small trees in the process, and ended up in the neglected garden behind mine!

It cleared bushes and small trees before demolishing an enclosed stairway to the upper levels of the building. I presume the two taller trees will go later (one is taller than the building). See 'Extra'.

Today, two men in white plastic suits, respirators and goggles turned up and started to remove the corrugated asbestos-cement roofing. One of them, cutting off the fixings, is my blip for today.

The building is being renovated. Two small shops are  housed on the ground floor and are being left as they are. Everythng above is being redeveloped with a higher roofline to incorporate four flats.
