Summerseat Farm

These American Bison are part of a small herd on Summerseat farm here in our county. It dates back to1678 and has been a working farm since the 18th century. There is a manor house and family cemetery on the farm as well. There are other farm animals and a fish pond and tobacco barn on the farm. It can be rented out for events as well. My nephew was married there years ago. I have taken much better pictures of the bison but today I was told they were feisty and getting close was impossible. 
They had a fundraiser yard sale today however I did not find a treasure I could not live without.
