Dolmen

Last year, we did a few of the local 'Chemin  des dolmens' and today in our exciting day out, we did another. Three dolmens of which this was one of the better ones. The best was being repaired as we arrived at it and when /Tricia asjed - in her best French - if he was a volunteer, the reply was no and that it was his job, a dolmen repairer. 
Can't be many of those about. He went on to say he generally works in museums restoring limestone artefacts and mentioned the menhir statues of Rodez which are stunning things that I blipped about years ago. Still quite a niche area I suspect.
