Beaten by Cows

A gorgeous day in Wales.

I headed out for a walk, more of St.Illtyd's Way and hopefully find the cairns and the circle.  I'd made good progress and then I turned the corner and came across a field of cows.  The majority were far away but there was one close to the path and I was doing my best to avoid him but he kept watching and inching towards me.  I tried to take an even wider route and he still kept coming, I then dropped out of sight to take a really long route and then came across another cow who started doing exactly the same thing.  I decided to call it quits and leave it for another day.  I don't want people asking how I died, thinking it would be my kidneys that would get me, only to be told I got trampled to death by cows.  You've got to be so careful around cows, there have been so many incidents of this happening.

I came across some police dogs being trained as I made my way home, they were on the loose and I waited for the policeman to spot me before I came through.  That would have caused more questions, how did he die?  Oh, he was killed by police dogs.  Doing what?  Lol!

Saw this interesting with fungi growing all the way up the bark, but nothing at the base interestingly.

More excitement in the afternoon as the air ambulance had to land in the park opposite.  Not sure where they went and they didn't bring anyone back, so I hope whoever needed their support is doing ok.
