Stretching the wings
An early walk along the Serpentine revealed a massive increase in the waterfowl population. They love lockdown obviously. At one point I saw a good 40 adult swans plus innumerable signets just in one spot (see extras).
Later in the afternoon I went for a socially distanced walk with my neighbour Paula in Kensal Green Cemetery. We exchanged gruesome stories about how people died in years gone by. The result of all of this (and a rant about Trump and Pence) was to feel lucky for what we have.
