Today’s lesson (2)

This morning I learned how to use a material called spartiere, which is what was used in the 1930s. This afternoon (pictured) was making a brim using wire and a fat round surface, so not needing a hat block. I used a lace pillow, but most others improvised with a cake board! 
I definitely prefers yesterday’s class, and am now hatted out. Back to masks tomorrow!
