Leaving home

Well, not quite. This is Duart Castle, clad in scaffolding while it undergoes long-term renovations. It is the ancestral home of the clan MacLean, the clan to which I belong. However, I live in a much humbler abode in the north-west of Mull.
N and I had an enjoyable drive down to the Tweed Valley today, although the roads were busy with lots of other travellers. We are now comfortably installed in our self-catering cottage and looking forward to a relaxing week.
