Smew two

Back at the London Wetlands Centre briefly this afternoon. Many of the ducks including the captive Smews were excited by the sniff of spring as the Sun broke out today and the temperatures rose. This is the male of the species - the blip from the http://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2690386 is the female, but she was on the wildside - free to take wing and fly away... saying that, she's still around.
