"Say Cheese"

It's quite a while since I've done a red squirrel blip though we seen them in the garden on many occasions. 

We'd been working on clearing some space in the garden and I'd kept seeing the squirrel running about on the front lawn. When we finished our work I put out some more nuts. I saw the squirrel and, having got a couple of shots through the window, I went and sat on the doorstep. 

The squirrel, a female, I presume, kept coming and taking the hazelnuts and knew I was there.  At one point she ran along the path within 2' of me, too close to focus on but I has happy to get shots like this one!
