Parish Pumps of St. Peter Port #17

Day 17 of my St Peter Port pump blip collectanea.

Doyle Road is quite a busy 2-lane thoroughfare, but as it's a one way street, you only have to keep an eye to the right when blipping the pump.

I was expecting the worse on the way to this pump as the Village Pumps entry had it down as "a very sorry sight...why has this one been left to rot..?"

Happily, it looks like it has been restored to something like its former self with a replacement handle, but the plaque is blank, so maybe the budget didn't stretch to a full historical restoration.

There are about 20 pumps around the Town and I have set myself the trainspotterish task of blipping them all in a row - you have been warned.
