Beside The Sea
Bed man rang to say he'd be here between twelve and two so we tootled down toTeignmouth for a walk and cup of coffee at Twentysix. Then up to the chalet at Shaldon to await delivery which duly arrived and was assembled (not that there was much to assemble with a divan bed, and we had to put the headboard on).
By this time Colin had joined us, so we had lunch and drove down the coast road to view the sights and delights of Torquay.
More walking (mainly uphill) then tea at Kim Saigon, a Chinese, Vietnamese, Cantonese restaurant, where I had an excellent mixed seafood with crispy noodles washed down with Tiger beer.
We then went for an after dinner drink at The Hole in The Wall, Torquay's oldest pub dating back to 1540 apparently. A great, old world traditional drinkers pub, though with an attached very large restaurant.
The photo shows Torquay Marina wall and the sweep of the bay beyond Brixham.
