Scottish Standing Stone

A memory of our Scotland trip, June 2019.  Child's dress is from a street vendor in Edinburgh, 30" doll discovered in a German thrift shop by our sister-in-law, stone is from our yard.  Echoes the country's many stone monoliths.  Prehistoric? commemorative or ritual functions? boundary markers on ancient routeways?  If you've read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series of books/movies, you'll recognize this.
