Looking over Loch Lomond

Today was a really lovely day. I went to St Mary's Cathedral for the first time since March. Even in these strange times it is a very special peaceful place for me. I am glad I made the decision to go. So familiar yet so very alien too just now.

In the afternoon J and I walked over Stoneymollen Road to this amazing viewpoint and sat for a while with our new clever coffee mugs that keep things piping hot and are not plastic . J's back is much better again and he enjoyed the walk.

It seems that awareness shifts in every day between hope , gratitude and optimism in the daily round and deep despair at the state of things in the world.
