firstly i'd like to thank everyone for their kindness around yesterday's blip, it's very much appreciated, thank you.

the weather's still crap although a little less crap than it was... this time the train took us to Fulong with the intention of a gentle cycle along towards Magang and what was sold to me as the most easterly point on the island.... again it rained, howling down from the north east, it was a choice of this or another of the the sky squashing the water... ten minutes after this the background hills disappeared for the day as it became one of those wall of rain moments, wonderful to see but you know that the only way forward is to retreat :-) anyway, in the space between there was a harbour... the waters are dangerous around here...last year over 300 freak waves and 260 dead or missing...made me wonder about the sanity of wandering along the harbour wall when the basic waves were jumping it at will....
