Mt Wilson

Mt Wilson is a precinct within the Blue Mountains, famous for its private exhibition gardens and lush corridors of trees. Last year, during the height of the forest fires, the area was threatened with destruction. Fortunately the gardens and the village were eventually spared although considerable damage was initially done to some of the timber country around and about. Fortunately much of that charred territory is also showing signs of recovery. We visited Mt Wilson today - the first time since the fires - and were pleasantly surprised.
