Dutchbarn Shaw

Early morning mist lies over the Low Weald as the spaniel and I make our way up to Blackcap on the South Downs. We normally take the chalk path up from Watershoot Shaw but this morning choose a different, steeper and less frequented path up through the woods of Dutchbarn Shaw. The devastating effects of ash dieback can be seen on the righthand side.
