Monte Toro.
New Normality day 114.
National bank holiday in Spain today so not much open. A trip out for a few supermarket items was quickly abandoned on seeing the crowded state of all the car parks - not worth the risk when cases have recently risen, mostly through a large family party in Mahon which resulted in 18 new positives. Much as in the UK, numbers of infections are higher now than at the March lockdown. This view of the back of the monastery on monte Toro was taken from the car on the way home.
My Dad died on this day 34 years ago. I wonder what he would have made of what has become of the world we live in.
