David, noticing my increasing despondency over the last few days at the new covid restrictions and prospect of them continuing over Christmas, has booked us a week away in November at a beautiful little cottage on the banks of river Lochay near Killin.  I am so touched at his thoughtfulness.

It's only an hour away from where we are but Loch Tay is a favourite spot of ours and the prospect of a week in a cosy little winter bolt hole has really cheered me up.
