TUFTY

I waited in vain for the rain to stop before I went out, but it had eased off enough for a quick fungus forage in the park after I'd done my errands, while still being wet enough for there not to be many other people about. In the end I preferred this Tufted Duck to the toadstools.

I've just had an email from a friend who tested positive yesterday and is isolating at home with a few symptoms. She's a primary school teacher in her 70s. She and all her colleagues are putting themselves on the line, and I'm hoping she soon recovers.
