Finished!

This is 35cm x 35cm cushion I designed and made for my parents' new home.

I've got to say, I'm pleased with how it has turned out, and, more importantly, ma & pa love it.

To say that they have not had a normal house move would be the epitome of understatement. They moved out of their old house in the new year, but as the house they bought needed renovating they moved into a tiny holiday flat (kindly lent by a friend). 

And then lockdown, and everything stopped.

Luckily, they live in Pembrokeshire which, so far/touch wood, has seen one of the lowest rates of infection in the country, so when the lockdown  eased the building work was able to carry on.

In September they could no longer stay in the flat so they came to stay with me in Cardiff.

And then Cardiff went into lockdown.

As moving home is one of the acceptable reasons the Welsh government allows for leaving the city, they'll be able to leave here this week and move into their long awaited new home!
