Geography lecture

Went to a vert interesting lecture about geography. The image in the picture is a schematic butterly, schematizing the map of the Island of Hispaniolia (Dominican Republic and Haiti).

It was explained as butterfly that is out of balance, with it's main activities and potential in the Western parts of the Dominican Republic. Something i just experienced during my trip to the DR last weekend! (I went to the far tip of the butterfly's upper wing).
