The Joy of Rain

After a long dry spell, especially in summer I really appreciate the sound of heavy rain and just wonder at the beauty of it all.  The plants just shoot upwards, the grass becomes verdant and everything looks so refreshed.
However, i have to admit that some of that shine has faded by October.
So it was with joy that I noticed these drops of rain today on the hips today.
