Worse for wear - BUT…
… better for the "Toughening up course".
Way back in history assorted "Courtesy Uncles" would pretend fight us and refer to it as a "Toughening up course".
It occurred to me a while ago that this was looking "a bit pasty faced".
I put it outside for a while; where it "took hammer, but survived and looks a much healthier shade of green.
It's never been outside except to be potted up. I think, in future years, it may get an annual toughening up course, but a wee bit better protected from clashy weather.
I'm still wondering whether it will get high enough for all leaves to clear the ground or I'll "pop me clogs" first?
You have to admit it's come on a bit since then.
