Started work on next year (lets hope its better)

I try to buy my plants from a local guy. His "nursery" business model seems similar to TK Maxx, getting big suppliers leftovers and selling them cheap(er). He has got 10/12 foot trees for £25 upwards and many small shrub for £3, buy one get one free etc.
He was hard hit during lockdown even though he kept up his delivery service and customer numbers are still very down. Probably because of this some changes have happened. He always sold nets of onion setts and shallots, bagged up on the primacies and much better value than the normal prepacked stuff. Likewise individual garlic bulbs were usually available. Not this year, prepacked only unfortunately. So bought the garlic and and now starting searching for onion supplies.
